We have just had an A I post forwarded to us which has caused us some concern. Is it an AI mistake or was this done with the intention of misleading potential clients?
The post was found on a Google search for our Chief Examiner Mike Rumble.
Whilst the post correctly identifies Mike Rumble as one of the most prominent polygraph examiners in the U.K. and notes that he is the Chairman of the U.K. Polygraph Association it also recognises that he has high customer satisfaction ratings for his professionalism and his ability to make clients comfortable during stressful test.
The post praises Mike for his professionalism stating, “clients consistently praise Mike for being professional and calming” and states he explains the process well reducing anxiety.
It correctly points out the services offered include tests for infidelity, theft, fraud and family disputes and although tests are not admissible in U.K Courts it assesses the test accuracy ratings within published and researched parameters.
The fact that you can book online is also highlighted as are our excellent Trustpilot reviews (liedetectortest.org)
It is only later in the post under the heading “How to find out more information” that things get concerning.
Under the sub-heading of U.K. Polygraph Association again referring to Mike the post states “His role as Chairman suggests involvement with this professional body liedetector.co.uk. We have absolutely no idea who this is and it certainly is not recognised as a professional body. They do not appear to be registered at Companies House and on visiting the site we were unable to locate the names of any examiner qualified or otherwise. We also found linked to the post a reference to another site (theliedetector.co.uk) with the name of an examiner who is definitely nothing to do with our business.
Now of course this could be a simple AI produced error but it is extremely misleading and very concerning and it would not be the first time others tried to profit from Mikes excellent reputation, so please do take care and if you require the U.K’s leading examiner then please visit www.liedetectortest.org or call us on 0203 965 1755.
